1. Sign up with Amazon Seller Central (click sign up to become individual seller at bottom of page)

If for some reason you DO NOT see this link at the bottom of the page. Click sign up and sign into or create Amazon account. (then reclick the original link and try again – it should appear now)

2. Answer a few quick questions

Click > Get Started (be patient while the next page loads)

3. Business Information – Pick Country

4. Choose your Business Type

Important: IF you do not pick Individual for business type… be prepared to provide additional business information. Make sure that you actually have a real and registered business. Otherwise select individual.

Then click > Save & Continue

5. Review the docs you will need to finish your Individual Seller Account setup

Checkbox and click > Agree and continue

6. Enter primary contact information

Make sure to send SMS to your cell phone for one time pin number

Click > NEXT when you are all done. NEXT will NOT appear if you are missing information.

8. Add your bank information and verify

Your bank information may be verified immediately or you may be asked for additional information.

If you signed up for individual seller only a $1 account verification charge will be applied to the card you enter. If you signed up for a business seller account there will be a monthly charge of $39.

12. Identity and Address Verification

You will be asked to verify your identity and to provide proof of address. Upload the neccessary documents and click Next. 

You may be asked for photo identity verification. The quicker option is to take a photo of your face & ID or option 1.

This is going to take using a quality camera on a laptop, desktop, or phone.

Follow all of the steps until you see a similar notification: 

13: All done! – Wait for your documentation that you have submitted to be approved

Your personal address, bank docs, and more will be in the process of being approved (for some this is instant) Either way you can start moving forward with the final steps of setting up your Amazon Individual Seller account. You can add tax information and even enroll your brand on Amazon.
