Turn good intentions into a plan
Give your store a clear holiday direction.
You do not have to promote every product or be everywhere at once. Start with a few relevant gift ideas, a buying experience you have checked, and messages you can realistically share.
Your eMerchantClub store gives you a foundation: a store built from the ground up, with your chosen product line, product images, and descriptions in place. Put that foundation to work by helping people discover what you sell and why it may fit their holiday needs.
This free holiday sales action plan takes you from choosing products to following up with shoppers. Each step has a clear finish line. Check it off, record your decisions in the worksheet, and move to the next action. Your role also includes responding to customers and following your order-processing workflow.
Begin with the shopping experience so you know what needs attention before you promote.
Start with the store check →Choose a small product focus, then turn it into one message you can share.
Choose your holiday focus →Action 01 • Create your shortlist
Choose your holiday focus.
Give shoppers a reason to explore a manageable selection. A theme such as “thoughtful gifts for home cooks” or “small updates for a welcoming guest room” can connect products to a person, interest, or occasion.
Select three to five products from your current store. For each one, check:
- Fit: Who might consider it, and what makes it relevant to your theme?
- Clarity: Are the image, description, price, and key details ready for a shopper to review?
- Availability: What does the current supplier information say about stock and fulfillment?
Save the product name, link, and one accurate reason to feature it in your worksheet. Lead with useful details such as size, material, function, or compatibility. Choose products because they fit your audience, without labeling them “bestsellers” unless you have evidence.
Action 02 • Walk through the buying experience
Check your store before you send visitors.
Open your store on your phone and follow the same path a shopper would take from your planned promotional link. Check the featured product, add-to-cart experience, and checkout flow.
- Product pages: Review images, options, prices, and descriptions. Make sure the link lands on the item or collection you intend to promote.
- Checkout: Confirm your payment setup and review shipping charges, any offer code, and the information a buyer must enter.
- Customer information: Make your store contact details, shipping information, and return policy easy to find.
- Order readiness: Know where to see orders and what you need to do when an order arrives.
Write down anything that needs attention. For a technical issue, note the page, device, and what happened, then contact eMerchantClub Support . The store setup tutorials are another useful starting point.
Action 03 • Make one clear offer
Plan a promotion you can explain in one sentence.
A useful holiday promotion can begin with a curated selection. You can highlight gifts for a particular interest or show how a product fits a seasonal need without reducing its price.
If you choose a discount, first account for product cost, shipping you pay, payment fees, and marketing costs. Decide which products qualify, when the offer begins and ends, and whether shoppers need a code. State those terms clearly and check that the offer works as intended.
Use the promotional discount tutorial if it applies to your store. Keep the message on your social post, email, and destination page consistent, including any actual deadline or exclusions.
Action 04 • Get your words and images ready
Prepare messages you can confidently share.
Start with a channel you already use and can maintain. Pair an existing product image you are authorized to use with a useful explanation, a clear link, and one next step for the shopper.
The template library below includes five social posts, two customer emails, and three shopper replies. Replace the {{placeholders}} with your own store details and adapt the fictional product examples to items you carry. Check every product claim and link before posting. Send promotional emails and texts to people who have agreed to receive them.
You do not need a completely new campaign every day. Introduce your theme, feature a product, answer a common question, and give interested shoppers another opportunity to explore.

Call eMerchantClub Marketing at 888-617-7219 to discuss assistance with social media, content creation, and more. Have your store URL, product shortlist, and the message you want to share ready for the conversation.
Action 05 • Schedule manageable next steps
Put your holiday plan on the calendar.
Choose dates you can follow through on. A simple starting rhythm is an introduction, a product feature, and a helpful follow-up. Add the date, channel, message, and destination link to your worksheet.
Use this 2026 holiday planning calendar as a guide. If you are starting later, begin with the current period and make your first campaign smaller.

Action 06 • Follow through and learn
Respond to shoppers, handle orders, and review.
Promotion continues after you publish. Check the channels you use, answer questions with verified information, and follow your store’s order-processing steps when an order arrives.
Before quoting a delivery timeframe, review current supplier information and distinguish an estimate from a confirmed update. If you need to check something, tell the shopper what you are checking. Use the customer reply templates to keep your responses clear and professional.
After your first three promotional actions, record what happened using the reporting available to you: product visits or link clicks, customer questions, and orders. Record the period you measured so you can compare the next one fairly.
If a post gets attention but few visits, review its link and next step. If visitors ask the same question, make the answer easier to find. Choose one adjustment for your next round of promotion.

A few questions before you start
What if I am getting started late?
Choose a smaller scope: one gift theme, three products, and a few messages you can publish and monitor. Check your store first and use current shipping information to decide what you can accurately promote. Start with the calendar period you are in.
Do I have to offer a discount?
No. You can introduce a themed collection, explain a useful feature, or help shoppers compare options. If you do offer a discount, review your costs and make the offer terms clear.
Can Marketing help me with social media and content?
Yes. Call 888-617-7219 to discuss assistance with social media, content creation, and more. Bring your store website and product ideas so you can talk through what you want to accomplish.
Will my worksheet be available on another device?
Browser saving keeps entries on the browser you use here when that feature is available. It does not sync with your member account or another device. Use “Print / Save My Plan” to keep a copy or bring your notes to a Marketing conversation.
